Heaven Peralejo on real score with Marco Gallo: ‘What you see is what you get’

Heaven Peralejo remains tight-lipped on the real score between her and Marco Gallo, at the same time hinting at what is really going on between them when she said she need not state the obvious.
When Gallo was referred to as “her boyfriend” during an interview with ABS-CBN News, the actress joked, “Are you sure he’s my boyfriend?” before adding, “I do not lie. What you see is what you get.”
The two are vocal about their affection for each other every time they post on social media or attend events together, but they have refrained from putting a label on their relationship.
In July 2023, Peralejo first opened up about their desire to keep their relationship private, asking to keep the real status of their relationship to themselves.
“Ako personally, mas gusto ko, kung meron man something sa amin, kung ano man ‘yung status namin, if meron, I would prefer to keep it sa amin lang,” she said then, adding, “Kung ano man ‘yung napu-post namin sa social media is what you see is what you get pero sa status, kung ano man kami, I’d rather keep it to ourselves.”
Gallo echoed his loveteam partner’s statement by pointing out that “labels” tend to put restrictions on the relationship, which is something they try to avoid.
“Just like that time I explicitly said that we’re in this situation, where we do not like to put a label [on] it. Just because you put labels, everything follows. There’s expectation. There are responsibilities. And what we have within. See, I can’t even call it a friendship. You know, it’s something. It is something,” said the actor.
Peralejo and Gallo met in Pinoy Big Brother (PBB) in 2016 and first worked together in the series adaptation of “The Rain in Espana,” in which they admitted their work relationship started awkwardly but eventually turned into the genuine thing they have right now.
