Patrick Sugui dismisses blind item linking his wife to Daniel Padilla

Patrick Sugui said there’s no truth to the blind item naming his wife, Aeriel Garcia, as allegedly one of the girls of Daniel Padilla.
The former Pinoy Big Brother (PBB) teen housemate took to X (formerly Twitter) to dismiss the rumors between his wife and the Kapamilya actor, which stemmed from a Reddit thread.
He said he was sure his wife has no involvement in the cheating rumors circulating, as netizens try to use the absence of Kathryn Bernardo and Padilla at their wedding to back up the claims.
“We don’t know where all of this is coming from. But I can assure you guys, my wife has nothing to do with this. ‘Yung di nila pag attend sa wedding namin before, naclear na namin yung reason kung bakit ‘di sila nakapunta,” wrote Sugui.

The “24/7” actor urged the public to stop spreading false claims, noting that it affects their quiet family life.

In 2022, Sugui said that Padilla and Bernardo weren’t able to attend their wedding because they were in lock-in taping.
A Reddit thread posted two months ago made the rounds online that says the “Mermaid,” allegedly pertaining to Sugui’s wife, and the “Disco,” referring to Padilla, were reportedly spotted in a bar and “doing something.”

The netizens began to speculate that the blind item was Garcia and Padilla after the mention of the “eat squad,” translating to “Nguya Squad,” a name for the star-dubbed friend group including Sugui and his wife, Padilla, Bernardo, Gabbi Garcia, Khalil Ramos, Joe Vargas, Bianca Yanga, Josef Elizalde, Marco Gumabao and Dominic Roque.

Aside from this, Padilla’s cheating allegations are being talked about online as his photos with Gillian Vicencio and other girls resurfaced.
Meanwhile, Bernardo’s older sister, Kaye, posted a cryptic post of a mask with the text “We know what you did last summer” and used a Destiny’s Child song “Say My Name” as its background music, mentioning different years in the caption, which many are speculating are the years when Padilla allegedly cheated on the “Hello, Love, Goodbye” actress.
As of this writing, there is no solid claim or any confirmation from the parties involved to put an end to the long-rumored reason for the former couple’s publicized breakup.
