Kristine Hermosa looks back on 13 years of marriage to Oyo Sotto

In celebration of Oyo Sotto’s 40th birthday and their 13th wedding anniversary, Kristine Hermosa reflected on how they have kept their marriage strong through their faith in God and in each other.
“To my beloved, getting older means more wisdom—lets focus on the brighter side,” the celebrity mom said on her Instagram page on Friday, Jan. 12.
“Our life together has never been easy. Challenges were never absent but despite being in a fallen world, having you and our children made life extraordinary—a taste of heaven on earth,” she continued.

Hermosa underscored how she does not believe in “low time” in marriage because she and Sotto have always put God in the center of their relationship. “… As long as we are doing our part to pursue Him and each other, it will always be a high time.”
“May we not forget how our love story began kahit ilang birthday at anniversary pa ang lumipas, at wag sana [magka-Alzheimer’s disease] ang romantic side mo,” she quipped.
“And yes, here we are… 13 years of constantly being frenemies yet we stick together no matter what,” she added. “Lalaban tayo, mahal ko! Happy 40th, my dear husby! Always grateful for your life.”

For his part, Sotto greeted Hermosa via his Instagram page, saying that her love and beauty shine brighter than the sun.

Hermosa and Sotto have five children together, namely Kiel, Ondrea, Kaleb, Marvic and Vittorio. They welcomed their youngest child, Vittorio, in August 2021.
