‘Gyeongseong Creature’ starring Park Seo-joon, Han So-hee to get season 2
The story of Jang Tae-sang (Park Seo-joon) and Yoon Chae-ok (Han So-hee) goes from 1945 to 2024, as a second season of “Gyeongseong Creature” has been confirmed.
Before the announcement, the K-drama’s final episode showed an unconscious Chae-ok falling into the lake with her missing mother — who turned out to be the feared monster at Ongseong Hospital. The female lead then inherited the Najin, a parasitic organism used to experiment on those under Japan’s colonies, which brings her back to life.
A post-credits scene shifted to a brief documentary of South Korea’s history which quickly transformed into a modern-day Seoul. A man named Ho-jae, who bore a scar on his nape, was then called and is a carbon copy of Tae-sang.
The series’ director Chung Dong-yoon then confirmed that the series is greenlit for a second season, which expands the lead characters’ fates.
