KD Estrada defends Alexa Ilacad against bashers
KD Estrada penned a message to the supporters of the former ship or fandom he was a part of, as he told them to stop the hate on his current loveteam partner, Alexa Ilacad.
On X (formerly Twitter), the actor expressed his feelings as he revoked his attachment to his former fandom as the fans of his ex-love team partner went onboard with their bashing of Ilacad.
“To the former ship or fandom I was associated in. I don’t want to be associated with this fandom, and the other person of this ship no longer. I have kept these feelings in for 2 years, but some of you have already crossed the line,” he wrote.
Estrada pointed out that he can take the criticism toward him but not the hate pinned against Ilacad and the other people he cares about.
“Your team constantly bashes Alexa, whom I genuinely care about, which some of you can’t seem to wrap your head around. I have let your hate and criticism towards me slide, and I take that. But I cannot allow this “fandom” who claims to “support” me to bash the family and people I love,” the actor expressed.

Meanwhile, Ilacad shared a message on her Instagram story, saying that she has learned in her growth that not everything deserves a reaction and not to waste her energy as she constantly tries to build her peace.
“Just because I don’t confront you about what you did or said about me doesn’t mean I don’t know. If I have learned nothing else in my season of growth, I know that every action doesn’t deserve a reaction, and it’s okay to walk away from people who have wronged you,” she said.
“Family, friend, foe, you don’t get to taint the energy I’m creating in my life. We are 100% in control of our peace; stop giving people so much power when it’s not deserved,” added the actress.
Despite not directly dropping the name of the fandom, Estrada is believed to be referring to the fandom of his and his former loveteam partner Anji Salvacion, collectively known as “KyJi.”
