Halle Bailey surprised fans after she introduced to the public her first child, baby boy Halo, whom she and her boyfriend, rapper DDG, welcomed in 2023.

The “Little Mermaid” star showed her son’s hand alongside hers and DDG’s via her Instagram page on Sunday, Jan. 7. The baby was wearing a gold bracelet engraved with his name.

“Even though we’re a few days into the new year, the greatest thing that 2023 could have done for me, was bring me my son,” Bailey said in the caption. “Welcome to the world, my Halo. The world is desperate to know you.”

DDG also showed the same photo on his Instagram page, saying: “My biggest blessing by far. [Never] been so in love.”

Among the celebrities who celebrated Bailey’s announcement and gushed over her child were her sister Chloe Bailey, Nicki Minaj, Rachel Zegler and Khloe Kardashian.

Bailey and DDG have been dating for over a year, making their relationship Instagram official in March 2022.

While the American actress-singer did not reveal her pregnancy to the public, some netizens pointed out in November how Bailey had “pregnancy nose.” In response, Bailey stressed she loves her nose and told netizens to leave her alone.
