Justin De Dios, vocalist and creative director of P-pop supergroup SB19, will mark his first acting appearance in the upcoming prom episode of ABS-CBN’s “Senior High.”

Justin’s appearance in “Senior High” was revealed in a teaser uploaded on ABS-CBN Entertainment’s YouTube channel on Friday, Jan. 5, where he stars as the date of the character Tanya, portrayed by Gela Atayde.

“Nice meeting you,” he said, before engaging in a polite handshake with a character who said, “Omg (Ohmigosh), winner.”

The name of his character, who donned an all-black ensemble and held a gold mask, is yet to be revealed as of this writing.

His role is speculated to be one of the students of the show’s Northford Senior High School, as he is an attendee of the fictional school’s prom, which follows a masquerade ball theme.

Justin also took to his Facebook page last Friday, Jan. 5, to share a behind-the-scenes glimpse of “Senior High’s” upcoming episode.

“Nice meeting you,” he said in the caption.

Justin also shared a screenshot of his upcoming appearance on his Instagram Story the same day. “Lah andito pala ako (Oh, I’m actually here),” he wrote.

A closer look at Justin’s ensemble for the series was also uploaded by fashion stylists Ran Dagala and Em Millan, as seen on their Instagram page.

SB19’s song “Bazinga”—which is included in their EP “Pagsibol”—is the theme song of “Senior High,” which stars Andrea Brillantes, Kyle Echarri, JK Labajo, Xyriel Manabat, Elijah Canlas, Zaijian Jaranilla, Baron Geisler and Sylvia Sanchez. The show is down to its final two weeks on air.

Justin previously shared during a September 2023 press conference that the quintet was “thinking” about using their music catalog as theme songs for series and films, as a way of reaching a wider audience.
