Kylie Verzosa announces first business venture
Kylie Verzosa is adding “businesswoman” to her resume as she recently announced the upcoming launch of her first business venture.
On Instagram, the beauty queen shared that she is embarking on a new journey as she unveiled her shapewear brand called SOLÁ.
“Another dream come true! I can’t wait to share with you my first business and baby, and what my team and I have been working on for the past months,” she wrote.
Verzosa declared that this initiative is rooted in the goal of uplifting people’s confidence: “At its core, it is to make everyone feel good and confident in their own bodies.”

The 2016 Miss International said in another post that her shapewear piece is designed to cater to every structure, so people would feel their “best self” in wearing it.

The actress added, “I feel that when I’m at my best self, anything is possible, and I want girls and my sisters to feel the same way too.”

Co-celebrities expressed their support for the new venture of the beauty queen-entrepreneur by penning some comments to her post.
“Congratulations Ky! I’m super proud of you,” wrote Tim Yap. Fellow beauty queen Meghan Young also extended her congratulations to the actress.
Career as an actress
Verzosa recently starred in “Penduko,” one of the 10 official entries in the Metro Manila Film Festival, with actor Matteo Guidicelli.
The 31-year-old won Best Actress for her role in “The Housemaid” at the Distinctive International Arab Festivals Awards (DIAFA) 2022.
In 2023, Verzosa had the once-in-a-lifetime experience of attending one of the most prestigious international film festivals, the Cannes Film Festival.
“They (the festival organizers) saw me when I won best actress in Dubai. And I was invited there through my publicist. I was so lucky… I was like, ‘Is it really me you want to invite?’ I couldn’t believe it,” she said.
