GMA welcomed the New Year with an explosive bang as it revealed its upcoming series for 2024, including “Sang’gre,” which is the much-awaited spinoff of the hit fantasy series “Encantadia,” and “Widows’ War” starring Bea Alonzo, Carla Abellana and Gabbi Garcia.

Take a look at some of the teleseryes that will premiere in the Kapuso network in 2024, which were teased on GMA’s omnibus trailer on its YouTube channel Monday, Jan. 1.

‘Sang’gre’

The sang’gres of the “Encantadia” 2016 reboot—consisting of Gabbi Garcia, Kylie Padilla, Glaiza de Castro and Sanya Lopez—have seemingly given their blessing to the new generation of actors who will guard their respective brilyantes to ensure peace in the mythical kingdom.

In a teaser video, Garcia, Padilla, de Castro and Lopez appeared to be taking note of the new sang’gres at a bar, with the “Unbreak My Heart” star noting how “promising” they seem to be.

The scene then shifted to Bianca Umali (Terra), Kelvin Miranda (Adamus), Faith Da Silva (Flamarra) and Angel Guardian (Deia), who offered themselves to the leads of the 2016 series before partying the night away.

‘Pulang Araw’

The network also uploaded a teaser of the historical series “Pulang Araw,” which showed fighter planes chasing what appeared to be a vintage vehicle.

“Pag-ibig, pangarap, pamilya, pagkakaibigan. Sa panahon ng digmaan, ano ang handa mong isakripisyo para sa tunay na kalayaan (Love, dreams, family, friendship. In a time of war, what are you willing to sacrifice for freedom),” the video read.

The teleserye reportedly stars Alden Richards, Sanya Lopez, Barbie Forteza and David Licauco.

‘Widows’ War’

Bea Alonzo, Gabbi Garcia and Carla Abellana are joining forces for the first time in the upcoming drama “Widows’ War,” which is said to take place in the same fictional universe as the network’s past series “Widows’ Web” and “Royal Blood,” per reports.

While the storyline is yet to be disclosed, the teaser showed the three actresses who appeared to be in a heated spat—with Abellana looking at someone with a proud grin, while Alonzo and Garcia’s eyes were burning with anger.

‘My Guardian Alien’

Marian Rivera is making her grand teleserye comeback in GMA as an alien from a different planet. The teaser showed the actress wearing a white dress, as she explored the mysterious world around her. She, however, appeared to be in shock after she comes across a framed picture that looked exactly like her.

“I am 1112085229125,” Rivera said in a background narration, before her eyes turned yellow.
