Controversial starlet has always been ‘problematic’

The popular quote, “Talent will get you to the top, but it takes character to keep you there,” is very much applicable to the story of this Balky Angel (BA), who started working in the biz quite early.
A few years ago, when she was still a teener, BA kept everyone on the set of one movie all worried because she arrived late for a shoot. What’s worse was that BA and her mother didn’t apologize for being the cause of delay.
BA’s mom even had the gall to demand that they leave for home early—after all, her daughter is a minor and has to follow the cut-off time imposed by the Department of Labor and Employment.
The production team had no choice but to let BA go. However, the one who recommended to cast BA, who also happens to be our source, swore to never deal with her again. Fast-forward to today, our Rushes insider says he still keeps hearing stories of BA being disrespectful and unprofessional, and adds that it’s only a matter of time before people grow tired of BA and refuse to cast her.
