LOOK: Richard Gutierrez, Sarah Lahbati spotted not wearing their wedding rings

Richard Gutierrez and Sarah Lahbati have yet to make a clear statement addressing their alleged split, but the couple caught the attention of eagle-eyed netizens after they were spotted not wearing their wedding rings, as seen in photos on social media.

Gutierrez, who still had his wedding band on in November, was noticeably not sporting his ring, as seen on the Instagram Story of his sister Ruffa, where he appeared to be hugging his niece Ezra.

“Uncle x niece @richardgutz x Ezra. Hugssss,” Ruffa wrote in her post.

Meanwhile, Lahbati is taking some time off the limelight with her sons Zion and Kai, as well as her family in Panglao, Bohol, where her photos showed her not wearing her wedding ring as well.

“Bohol,” she wrote in an Instagram post sharing some of the highlights of her trip dated Thursday, Dec. 28.

The actress’ post caught the attention of netizens in the comments, with some praising Lahbati’s strength amid her alleged marital woes. Others also noted the placement of the flower on her right ear which, according to “Hawaiian culture,” signifies a woman being “single.”

“A flower behind a woman’s right ear indicates that she is single. If the flower is behind her left ear, it indicates that she is engaged, married, or dating,” one @cresnme wrote.

Since rumors of their alleged marital woes broke out in November, Gutierrez and Lahbati have remained mum on their respective social media accounts, although both of their parents have made apparent jabs at each other on social media.

Among the recent developments on the alleged split is Lahbati’s mother Esther revealing that they are apparently “co-parenting” their sons, but she has yet to disclose the full details.
