Many of us are going through tough times. My wish really is for everyone to have peace in both their hearts and minds. I also wish for all of us to be happy during the Christmas and New Year celebrations. I hope these two days will be perfect for all of us. This year, we didn’t plan any vacation because Dingdong (Dantes, her husband) and I are busy promoting “Rewind” for the Metro Manila Film Festival. We will tour movie houses.
For 2024, more than becoming a beauty advocate, I want to be able to advocate good health, both physical and mental.

My wish is for all my talented Filipino friends to experience what I have been experiencing [in Hollywood]. It feels really nice to work in an environment where your talent is appreciated and you’re treated with such respect and grace. That’s my wish for my friends in the industry.
My goal this 2024 is to work with (actors) Meryl Streep, Olivia Colman and Daniel Day-Lewis. There are so many of them that I dream of working with—there’s also (directors) Christopher Nolan, Ari Aster and Yorgos Lanthimos, who I have been a fan of for a long time.

My wish for Christmas is for the government to give more support to the arts, the artists and OPM (Original Pilipino Music). We all support K-pop and other foreign acts. We should support more of our own. Another wish is for our artists to be recognized, not just as entertainment, but as a representation of our culture and art.
My goal this coming year is to do a major collaboration with my industry idols in a concert or theater production. I want to record a new song, hopefully, a hit song. I intend to participate in more events that will promote OPM and Filipino artistry.
