For this Christmas, I wish for love and forgiveness. We (she and her fiance Dominic Roque) will leave for Japan after the Christmas celebration. It’s our favorite destination.
My goal this 2024 is to finally be able to plan for our wedding. I’m very thankful for all the work opportunities, as well as the success of Bash (her retail brand). Another goal is to make sure I am able to manage my time well so that whatever work or personal endeavor I choose to undertake, I will be able to devote my full attention.

It seems a cliché, but my wish is good health for everyone. I also wish for the local moviegoing audience to return to the cinemas.
This 2024, I hope to work on making more films with global standards, as well as work on making sure that our presence is felt in the international market.

Christmas can be celebrated in various ways, I prefer a simple celebration with my family. It is important to be with your family or community at this time of year especially for those who are sick, alone and lonely, and for those who have mental health issues. May we all be more kind and compassionate, and be more generous to share whatever we have with those who have less in life and are in need of help. Only a few days before the year ends, let’s hope and pray that there will be some good news for everyone (to have work and earn some income). Let us remain grateful for waking up every morning and for being able to deal with life’s challenges.
The year 2024 looks exciting with the lineup of theater productions and films. I look forward to watching more original plays and musicals in Filipino. Thank you to PETA, Tanghalang Pilipino, the CCP Virgin Labfest, Dulaang UP and other companies for putting up productions in Filipino. It would be nice to have more auditions for plays/musicals and indie films. I hope more roles will be written for senior actors, they are equally capable and productive.
I love to travel and would like to act in films shot in other countries. I want to be active as an actress in our country. —MARINEL CRUZ
