As Christmas draws near, couple Jessy Mendiola and Luis Manzano shared on Instagram their first holiday family photo shoot.
“Our first Christmas family shoot! Our little girl was such a trouper. So bait! ” wrote Mendiola in her post.
In 2021, the couple tied the knot in an intimate wedding, which they only revealed two months later. They were blessed with a daughter who is about to turn a year old on December 28.
Early this month, Mendiola had a double celebration for her birthday and the upcoming 1st birthday of their baby girl, Isabella Rose.
Return to acting
Now that their bundle of joy is turning a year old, the actress recently revealed her desire to return to showbiz after years of inactivity to focus on being a mom.
“Forever naman talaga ang pagiging ina, but ‘yun nga pinaplano ko next year, babalik na ako. Kinakabahan nga ako kasi baka nakalimutan na ako ng showbiz, pero I’m very grateful na bawat post ko nandoon pa rin ‘yung mga tao na nagsusupport sa akin,” she opened up.
(Being a mom is forever, but my plan is to return to showbiz next year. I feel kind of nervous that the show business might have forgotten me already, but I’m grateful to the people who’re always there to support me.)
With the ‘Maria Mercedes’ star’s wish to return to acting, Manzano expressed his continuous support for his wife.
“Sabi ko naman sa kanya, whatever she wants to do, she has her fulfillment as a mom. If it means na gusto niya bumalik sa showbiz, mag-sitcom, mag-host anything that would add fulfillment pa sa kanya,” he said.
(As I already told her, whatever she wants to do, what fulfills her as a mom, if she wants to return to showbiz, to do sitcoms, to do hosting, whatever, as long as it would bring her more fulfillment.)
