While still mum on the third party accusations against her, Andrea Brillantes declared she is looking forward to having a fresh start in the coming year, and expects it to be full of “growth and healing.”

During a backstage interview of the ABS-CBN Christmas Special, the actress was asked about her plans in welcoming 2024.

“Bubuksan ko ang 2024 nang fresh, bago,” she answered, as seen in a video shared by ABS-CBN PR on its Instagram page on Sunday, Dec. 17. (I will welcome 2024 with a fresh, new [start].)

Asked again, this time on what she looks forward to the New Year, Brillantes said without expounding: “Hindi na kasi ako masyadong nag-eexpect, basta growth lang, healing—ayon. Maging maayos lang.”

(I do not expect much but growth and healing, and for [everything] to be well.)

For her Christmas wish, Brillantes said she does not ask for much because she is already happy, with her family healthy and sound. “Siguro wish ko na lang ay matuto na mag-drive.” (All that I wish for is to learn how to drive.)

Brillantes’ name has been dragged in the breakup of Kathryn Bernardo and Daniel Padilla, following insiders’ claims that the younger actress had been meeting secretly with the actor.

Another report, also citing insiders, claimed that Brillantes supposedly hooked up with Padilla and that the younger actress was even the one who informed Bernardo of their dalliance.

Brillantes as well as the former couple have so far refrained from addressing such rumors, as of writing.
