It seems like Annabelle Rama and Abdel Lahbati’s seeming word war is far from over, as they made another round of cryptic remarks on social media while warning their followers to be wary of fake news.
Rama and Lahbati’s oblique remarks came at the height of the speculations surrounding Richard Gutierrez and Sarah Lahbati’s allegedly crumbling marriage. The couple, however, has yet to confirm speculations on their supposed breakup.
On her Instagram account last Sunday, Dec. 17, Rama recalled a conversation she had with her supporters, saying she shouldn’t waste her time dwelling on “fake news” purportedly spread by a certain “inggitera” or someone who gets jealous easily.
“Huwag ko na raw pansinin ang mga fake news dahil hindi sila naniniwala especially sa idol nilang si Richard, alam nyu na kung saan galing ang mga fake news (I shouldn’t give fake news a time of day because fans who see Richard as their idol wouldn’t believe such thing. You know where they come from),” she wrote.
Rama then noted that she wouldn’t disclose the identity of the person she was alluding to, but said they will surely “die of jealousy.”
“Hindi ko na babanggitin ang inggetera, mamatay ka sa inggit dahil alam ng tao kung ano ang totoo, matatalino ang taong bayan (I’m not going to mention the identity of this envious person. Just die of jealousy because people know what’s the truth. Society is smart),” she continued.
‘Fake news’
Meanwhile, Abdel caught the attention of his Instagram followers after accusing a certain someone of “spending money to spread fake news.”
“Until now we’re just quite ignoring some barking dogs. But someone doesn’t want to stop talking about this issue, she’s even spending money to spread fake news,” he said, while sharing a photo of barking Golden Retrievers.
“Until now we’re just quite ignoring some barking dogs. But someone doesn’t want to stop talking about this issue, she’s even spending money to spread fake news, we choose to spend money to enjoy our life. Thanks to everyone for your love and support for Sarah,” he wrote.
Gutierrez and Lahbati, who wed in March 2020, are known for being expressive about their love for one another, as well as their sons Zion and Kai. But their absence from their respective social media accounts since last November caused speculations that they parted ways.
While they have yet to issue a statement on the status of their marriage, the veteran talent manager confirmed in an ABS-CBN interview that Gutierrez has been staying in her place for a month now.
