The parade route is 8.7 km long, with an estimated travel time of three hours as it commences from Navotas Centennial Park at 2 p.m. and passes through Circumferential Road 4 (C-4), Samson Road, and MacArthur Highway to end at Valenzuela People’s Park.
Affected roads
Organized by the Metro Manila Development Authority (MMDA), the agency released alternate traffic routes to make way for MMFF’s Parade of Stars. MMDA will implement temporary lane closures and counterflow from 12 pm to 8 pm on December 16 for the following roads: C-4 Road (from Navotas Centennial Park to A Mabini St.), Samson Road (from A Mabini St. to Monumento Circle), and Mc Arthur Highway (from Monumento Circle to C. Santos Street). The said roads will only be opened after all floats have passed.
“With the expected influx of spectators and movie fans, we have prepared a traffic management plan to mitigate the effects on vehicular flow,” said MMDA Acting Chairman and concurrent MMFF Over-all Chairman Don Artes.
