Sarah Lahbati expressed her gratitude to the Lord for a “second chance” in life after she and her family figured in a car accident.

On her Instagram Broadcast channel on Thursday, Dec. 14, Lahbati revealed that she and her family “were involved in an accident on the skyway” although none of them suffered any major casualties.

“We were involved in an accident on the skyway. Fortunately, all three cars involved avoided any casualties, and we are all okay,” she said.

The actress thanked God for the “second chance” and for keeping her family “alive and well.”

“Today, we were given a second chance. Just when you think everything you worry about should be the center of the world, you’re reminded of God’s lessons, promises, and the bigger picture,” she said. “Things could have been much worse, yet my family and I are alive and well.”

Lahbati also clarified that her story is not meant to make her followers “feel bad” for them, but it’s a reminder of “God’s promises.”

“I’m not sharing this for you to feel bad for us. I’m sharing this story because this year has been the toughest of my life, yet I am reminded of God’s goodness, His second chances, and His promises,” she wrote.

The car accident happened during the height of Lahbati’s alleged split with husband Richard Gutierrez, which seemingly involved their families after her father Abdel and seasoned actress Annabelle Rama made sharp remarks on their respective social media platforms.

Rama also made headlines after praising her son Richard for working hard, while another is allegedly splurging his money.

Lahbati and Gutierrez, who wed in 2020, remained mum about the allegations. The actress, however, denied accusing her husband of being “brainwashed,” on Instagram.
