Marian Rivera, Dingdong Dantes say their Christmas will be different this year
For the past many years, Marian Rivera and Dingdong Dantes have had a routine every Christmas, which is to celebrate it with their families. This coming Christmas, however, they will not be doing their usual celebration.
During a guest appearance on Fast Talk with Boy Abunda on Wednesday, Dec. 13, the primetime king and queen shared that their Christmas will look a little different this year as they plan to personally thank their fans in cinemas who will watch their Metro Manila Film Festival 2023 movie “Rewind.”
“This Christmas will be quite different bukod sa aming tradisyon na may noche buena tapos usually kasi kapag 25 ng tanghali doon kami sa kanila sa Cavite nagla-lunch, pero ngayon magiging iba siya dahil mag-iikot po kami sa mga sinehan for the very first time on Christmas para magpasalamat sa mga nanood ng aming pelikula,” said Dingdong.
(This Christmas will be quite different since besides our tradition of having a noche buena, on December 25 we go to Marian’s house in Cavite for lunch. This year will be different as we plan to roam around cinemas for the very first time on Christmas to personally thank our fans for watching our MMFF movie.)
The Philippine royal couple shared as well that they had a hard time filming the intimate scenes for this MMFF film despite being a real-life couple.

Marian and Dingdong will mark their reunion on the big screen after 13 years as they headline one of the MMFF entries this year. “Rewind” follows the story of a couple named John and Mary as they experience the struggles of marriage and their desire to relive their past experiences to keep their love alive.
