WATCH: Jessy Mendiola, daughter Rosie celebrate birthdays together in floral party

Jessy Mendiola marked her 31st birthday on Dec. 3 with a double celebration as she organized a floral-themed party for her and for her daughter Rosie, who is set to turn one year old on Dec. 28.

The actress documented the event through a vlog shared on her YouTube channel last Thursday, Dec. 7. Aside from the food stalls, also among the highlights of the party were an inflatable play area, an arcade area, a photo booth, a perfume stall and four-tier pastel pink cake filled with bloom decorations.

Mendiola said she and her husband, TV host-actor Luis Manzano, opted to celebrate Rosie’s birthday earlier because their loved ones and close friends might be busy on the 28th because of the holidays.

Among the guests were Luis’ family: parents Edu Manzano, Vilma Santos—who were both seen sharing a hug during the event—stepfather Ralph Recto, stepbrother Ryan Recto, as well as celebrity friends Iya Villania, Nikki Gil and their families.

“My birthday became extra special because we celebrated Rosie’s advance birthday party on the same day,” Mendiola said. “We’re so grateful for everyone who was able to come despite their busy schedules. Being able to celebrate with loved ones [and] friends for any occasion is a blessing, always.”

Meanwhile, Mendiola also marked her birthday with a sexy photo shoot and an appeal to the public to stop mom-shaming.

Mendiola and Luis tied the knot in an intimate wedding in February 2021, then welcomed Rosie—also fondly called Peanut—in December 2022.
