Kitchie Nadal revealed that she had given birth to her second child, baby boy Iago, introducing her newborn to the public for the first time.
The singer-songwriter, who is based in Spain, gave a glimpse of Iago during what appears to be a dedication ceremony held in November, as seen on her Instagram page on Wednesday, Dec. 6.
“Iago is derived from Santiago (Sant īAGO). It is believed that he began preaching the gospel in the northern Spanish region of Galicia, and for this reason, he is revered as the patron saint of Galicia and, more broadly, of Spain as a whole,” Nadal said in the caption.
Nadal also showed moments of her son with his grandmothers and during their family stroll outdoors. The singer did not immediately disclose Iago’s date of birth.
Nadal, best known for her hit songs “Huwag na Huwag Mong Sasabihin” and “Same Ground,” among others, has been married to Spanish journalist Carlos Lopez since February 2015. The couple welcomed their firstborn Keon in August 2017.
Nadal announced her second pregnancy last July by showing off her baby bump while carrying a guitar in Times Square, New York.
