Rhian Ramos says Max Collins is more fitting to follow Michelle Dee’s footsteps

Rhian Ramos reiterated that she is not the least bit interested in following the footsteps of her best friend Michelle Dee in pageantry, but said their other friend, Max Collins may be more suitable in joining beauty contests.
Dee finished in the Top 10 of the recently concluded Miss Universe 2023. Prior to that, she also joined the Miss World pageant, on top of her acting and modeling stint.
Speaking to reporters one the sidelines of the recent press conference of “Ikaw at Ako,” Ramos said while she had been asked in the past if she wanted to join beauty contests, her answer has always been no.
“No. I was like, you know what, just from watching, I felt, I’m going to be honest, I felt heartbreak many times when I was watching. Do I want to join? No,” the actress said.
“It was suggested to me a few times back when I was under the age limit, back when they had an age limit. But no, talaga,” she further said.

Just recently, the Miss Universe Organization announced the elimination of all age limits across all associated pageants, effective for 2024 pageants globally.
The actress then argued that her physical attributes are not up to par with the standards of beauty pageants.
“Look how I stand. Kahit ba kuba, pwede? Kahit ba walang poise pwede? Pag pwede na ‘yon, sige,” said Ramos.
The 33-year-old actress then said her other celebrity friend, Max, may be more fitting for the role as she had a goddess-like aura about her.
“Yes, actually, you know what, kesa ako mas fitting talaga si Max. I know that when Max switches on, she transforms into this goddess creature, so mas siya,” the actress declared.
In October, Ramos initially debunked the possibility of her joining beauty pageants.
“I feel like for me and my life, it’s probably impossible at this point. I have no poise, composure, or emotional control. ‘Pang drama talaga ako,” she said.
