Miss Supranational first runner-up Pauline Amelinckx headlined a fashion show featuring the 2024 bridal collection of designer Mikee Andrei, together with some of her fellow beauty queens.

Andrei is also the general manager and lead stylist of the Aces and Queens pageant camp, the team that honed Amelinckx since the 2018 Mutya ng Pilipinas competition, and in her three attempts in the Miss Universe Philippines pageant.

The designer was responsible for plucking Amelinckx out of the Bohol pageant scene, and brought her to the national pageant stage, a journey that would span five years before the Belgian-Filipino model and host saw action in the global arena.

Amelinckx would later be named the first The Miss Philippines titleholder after her Miss Supranational tilt.

The fashion show was dubbed “Hera,” the Greek goddess of marriage, women and family, and gathered 20 beauties from the Aces and Queens stable at Bellevue Manila in Alabang, Muntinlupa City, last month.

Amelinckx appeared in a beige trumpet gown with white linear accents on the bodice, white tulle draping on the bottom, and floor-length cape sleeves. A gold head piece with leaf details adorned her curled locks.

Joining her were other international beauties: 2023 Miss International third runner-up Nicole Borromeo, 2021 Miss World finalist Tracy Maureen Perez, 2019 Miss Asia Pacific International semifinalist Klyza Castro, and 2023 Miss Supermodel Worldwide fourth runner-up Shyrla Nuñez.

Amelinckx’s Miss Supranational Philippines predecessor Alison Black, who finished in the Top 20 of the 2022 global competition, hosted the event.

The Aces and Queens camp have already assembled their roster of beauties who will be deployed to different national competitions next year. About a couple of a dozen ladies have already started their pageant training with the team.
