John Lloyd Cruz, Max Eigenmann and the film “Kapag Wala Nang Mga Alon” emerged as the respective winners in the best actor, best actress and best film categories at the 46th edition of Gawad Urian.
Cruz bested four other nominees with his performance in “Kapag Wala Nang mga Alon,” during the awarding night at the UP Film Institute on Thursday, Nov. 30.
Eigenmann bagged the best actress award with her performance in “12 Weeks,” while “Kapag Wala Nang mga Alon” earned the top film honor among four nominees.
“Leonor Will Never Die” also won big at the awarding ceremony with four awards, namely best music, best production design, best editing and best director. Meanwhile, the Natatanging Gawad Urian honor was given to veteran actor Jaime Fabregas.
