All appeared well now between Bea Alonzo and veteran show biz personality Lolit Solis after “finally” patching up their differences during the birthday celebration of entrepreneur Rhea Tan, which took place at a hotel in Quezon City.
Solis took to her Instagram account last Sunday, Nov. 26 to reveal her reconciliation with Alonzo, which stemmed from her remarks when the actress worked with Kapuso actor Alden Richards in the TV adaptation of the Korean hit series “Start-Up PH.”
“Tuwa naman ako na nagkita at nagbati na kami ni Bea Alonzo. Nagsimula lang naman iyan sa ‘Start Up’ na pinagsamahan nila ni Alden Richards. Bashing ang napala ko dahil duon, at sa kagagahan ko pinatulan ko naman na ang naging biktima si Bea Alonzo,” she said.
(I’m happy that Bea Alonzo and I had the chance to meet and reconcile. Our misunderstanding started when she worked on “Start-Up” with Alden Richards. I was the brunt of bashing at the time, and because of my stupidity, I opted to fight back. This ultimately affected Bea Alonzo.)
Solis admitted that she wanted to apologize to Alonzo since the incident, and she’s relieved that Tan’s birthday party was the opportunity for them to repair their friendship.
“Kaya nga ng ma realized ko na mali ako nuon pa balak ko ng mag apologize kay Bea at nangyari iyon sa birthday ni Rhea Tan… Kaya natuwa ako dahil now nawala na guilt ko kay Bea (When I realized that I made a mistake, I wanted to apologize. I’m glad that it happened on Rhea Tan’s birthday. I’m happy that my guilt towards Bea has subsided),” she said.
Meanwhile, Alonzo also confirmed at a 24 Oras report on GMA Integrated News’ YouTube channel last Monday, Nov. 27, that she and Solis are on amicable terms for good.
“I’m happy na finally, nagkita na kami. Christmas na Christmas [season pa]. Ang Christmas ay panahon ng pagmamahalan, pagpapatawaran (I’m happy that we finally met. It even took place this Christmas season. Christmas is the season of love and forgiveness). I’m happy,” she said.
The actress also said in the report that her upcoming wedding with fiancé Dominic Roque is slated for 2024. Details about the exact date, guests, and venue are yet to be disclosed.
