Michelle Dee teases new project as she returns to PH
After her memorable journey in this year’s Miss Universe, Philippine pride Michelle Dee is returning home, and everyone is on the lookout for what’s next for the actress-beauty queen.
On Thursday, Nov. 23, Dee hinted on X (formerly Twitter) about a project her fans can look forward to as she began her trip home.
“Joining a show soon with a very ‘special role.’ Any guesses? Clue: ala-Freya,” wrote the Philippine bet.
Some are speculating that “ala-Freya” could be linked to Freyja or Freya, the goddess of war, love, lust, fertility and magic in Norse mythology.
However, given that Dee previously played a character named Freya in GMA’s Mga Lihim ni Urduja, the hint could be a reference to that.

Return to the Philippines
Nevertheless, no matter what genre or role, the actress’ fans will surely extend their unwavering support to Dee as she comes back to television.
After attending post-pageant events in Mexico, Dee is finally en route home, and fans are expected to give her a warm “salubong” at Ninoy Aquino International Airport Terminal 1 at 6:55 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 25.
During the recently held Miss Universe 2023, Dee settled for a Top 10 finish but brought home three special awards including the Spirit of Carnival Award, the Miss Universe’s fan vote and Voice for Change gold award.
In 2021, the beauty queen-turned-actress won her first acting award after she was named Best New Movie Actress of the Year for her performance in “Because I Love You” during the 36th PMPC Star Awards for Movies.
Her other series include “I Left My Heart in Sorsogon,” “Agimat ng Agila” and “Love You Two,” among others.
