Kylie Padilla is among the many pageant fans showing their dismay for Michelle Dee’s appearances at a Miss Universe 2023 event in Mexico amid mistreatment allegations, even though the Miss Universe Philippines (MUPH) organization denied the accusations.
Padilla took to her X (formerly Twitter) account on Wednesday, Nov. 23 to denounce the treatment towards “my queen,” apparently referring to Dee, while claiming the latter is being “bullied” by the Miss Universe Organization (MUO).
“Why take her to Mexico if you’re just going to bully her. My queen is just wasting her energy and power frankly, on all of you UGH,” she wrote.

Dee then replied to Padilla’s post with a brief “Ily” or “I love you.”

Rhian Ramos, who is also a close friend of the actress-beauty queen, previously spoke up against the MUO on her Instagram Stories last Nov. 21, while sharing a screenshot of Miss Universe owner, Thai business mogul Anne Jakrajutatip talking to Dee in Thai where she supposedly said, “cannot move on.”
This, while videos of alleged mistreatment towards Dee in Mexico made rounds on social media after she was apparently led out of a TV segment in Mexico.
Despite this, the MUPH organization denied the allegations and pointed out that the beauty queen wasn’t feeling well due to the “past week’s tedious back-to-back schedule.”
“The segment was done by the time she exited… Upon seeing her condition, the MUPH team decided that it was best for [Dee] to go back to the hotel to get some rest. Michelle hopes to join the city tour today as long as she feels better. Please wish that she gets well soon,” MUPH said in a statement.
