Carla Abellana dismayed by over P600,000 charge on her credit card
Carla Abellana took to social media to express her dismay over a transaction amounting to $11,087.33 (P620,009) that was charged to her credit card, as she pondered how she would settle such a substantial amount.
“Lord, how will I pay for the $11,087.33 that was charged to my BDO Mastercard?” the actress said on her Threads page on Friday, Nov. 10, referring to the banking giant.
While it was not immediately stated whether or not the transaction was unauthorized, Abellana further expressed disappointment in her two succeeding posts which read “Heartbreaking” and “Losing hope.”
Curious netizens chimed in on the matter to ask what happened, although the actress has yet to expound as of this writing.
Meanwhile, Abellana is set to headline the TV series “Stolen Life” alongside Gabby Concepcion and Beauty Gonzalez. The show will premiere on Monday, Nov. 13, on GMA Network.

In the TV series, Abellana and Gonzalez are cousins who have extraordinary abilities to do astral projection.
During the mediacon for the show, Abellana and Gonzalez heaped praises for one another, with the latter saying the longtime Kapuso actress has an ethereal beauty akin to Mama Mary. On the other hand, Abellana praised Gonzalez for her acting.
