Sharon Cuneta revealed that it was only until rehearsals for the “Dear Heart” reunion show with ex-husband Gabby Concepcion that she had a chance to reunite with her eldest child KC Concepcion, a day before the concert took place last October 27.
Cuneta took to her Instagram account last Friday, November 3, to look back at some of her unforgettable memories during the concert, which included an emotional reunion with her daughter.
“The night before our concert, KC surprised me while we were rehearsing. It was the first time I saw her again since my birthday on January 6,” she wrote.
The singer-actress shared that she and KC couldn’t hold their tears during their reunion, as she shared that nothing compares to the feeling of seeing each other again.
“Although nagtetextan at nagpadalahan naman kami ng gifts sa isa’t isa (Even if we send messages or gifts to one another), KC will always be my baby #1 no matter how old we both get. I love you, Toot,” she wrote.
During the Megastar’s concert with Gabby last month, Sharon appeared to be sentimental after apologizing to her daughter for not giving her a “complete family.”
KC, who was born in April 1985, was the first daughter of Sharon and Gabby before they parted ways two years later. Their annulment was finalized in 1993.
Sharon and Gabby, who are set to stage another reunion concert in Cebu on November 17, are happily married to their respective partners. Sharon tied the knot with former senator Francis “Kiko” Pangilinan in 1996 while Gabby with Genevieve Gonzales in 2004.
