Months after going public with their relationship, Blackpink’s Jisoo and actor Ahn Bo-hyun have parted ways due to “busy schedules.”
Jisoo and Ahn’s separation was first reported by an unnamed industry representative to Korean media outlet JTBC News on Tuesday, Oct. 24, saying the ex-couple “drifted apart due to busy schedules” which ultimately resulted in their split.
Jisoo’s label YG Entertainment then confirmed the singer-actress and Ahn’s breakup on the same day to Sports Today. “It is true that Jisoo and Ahn Bo Hyun broke up.”
The ex-couple’s relationship was confirmed by their respective agencies in August of this year.
Jisoo made her debut as the visual and lead vocalist of Blackpink in August 2016, and made her name as a solo artist with the single album “Me” in March 2023. She’s also known for her acting career, with her lead role in the K-drama “Snowdrop” in 2021 as her recent project.
The actress-singer is set to make a special appearance in the upcoming film “Dr. Cheon and Lost Talisman” which will premiere in 2023.
On the other hand, Ahn is best known for his appearances in the Korean series “See You in My 19th Life,” “Itaewon Class,” “2022 Military Prosecutor Doberman,” and “Yumi’s Cells.” EDV
