Part 2 of ‘CAFarmer, CAFisher, Tayo ang Bida’ TV special airs on Oct. 22

MANILA, Philippines—The second part of the “CAFarmer, CAFisher, Tayo ang Bida” TV special airs on Sunday, Oct. 22, from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. on PTV-4. 

The documentary, based on the 2022 Census of Agriculture and Fisheries, stresses the importance of data gathering in trying to improve the lives of those in the agriculture and fisheries sector.

It also includes case studies of farmers and fisherfolk, success stories, as well as the work of local government units and concerned government agencies in the development of agriculture and fisheries.

The TV special will be hosted by award-winning journalist Niña Corpuz, who will be joined by Undersecretary, National Statistician and Civil Registrar General Claire Dennis Mapa of the Philippine Statistics Authority and Ms. Minerva Eloisa P. Esquivias, deputy national statistician at the PSA Censuses and Technical Coordination Office.

The 2022 CAF TV special is an opportunity for viewers to gain insight into the heart of the nation’s agriculture and fisheries industry. It is a celebration of the hardworking individuals in agriculture and fisheries, as well as a call to action for sustainable practices in the said sector.
