Ricci Rivero and Leren Mae Bautista further fueled dating speculations after they were seen together on the bleachers of a recent University Athletic Association of the Philippines (UAAP) men’s basketball game.
Ricci and Bautista cheered with other basketball fans during the game between University of the Philippines (UP) and De La Salle University (DLSU) at the Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City, as seen in the photos on The UAAP Facebook page on Wednesday, Oct. 18.
While the pair has yet to confirm or deny their rumored romance, the beauty queen-turned-politician appears to have become closer to Ricci’s family as they were with the basketball player’s father and brother in the sports event.

Rivero and Bautista have been hounded by dating speculations since June, when the basketball player reposted a photo of himself taken and shared by Bautista. As Rivero’s split with his previous girlfriend, actress Andrea Brillantes, had yet to be confirmed at the time, fans accused the basketball player of cheating on the “Senior High” star.
Rivero then revealed his breakup with Brillantes and appealed to the public to refrain from making “false accusations.” Bautista subsequently dismissed the third-party accusations against her and said that these claims “are entirely false and have no basis in reality.”
Meanwhile, Rivero and Bautista had been seen together in public in several instances prior to the UAAP basketball game. /ra
