MANILA, Philippines — The family of beauty queen Catherine Camilon, who went missing last October 12, is requesting “privacy,” even as investigation on her disappearance is ongoing.

Jean Fajardo told reporters Wednesday.

(The family is requesting police to investigate this quietly for their privacy, and the PNP respects that.)

Camilon’s disappearance was recently made public by her mother Rose and sister Chin Chin in a series of social media posts days after she went missing while traveling from Tuy to Batangas City.

Fajardo said based on the report from the provincial director of Batangas Police Provincial Office, they are now “pursuing good leads” but opted not to give further details on their findings.

(Police already scanned areas that she possibly visited after being reported missing […], and they are validating a report they received from one of the areas Camilon went to. We are now coordinating with the area’s management, but I cannot give more details.) EDV
