Kris Aquino hopes to keep ‘harmonious, supportive’ relationship with Mark Leviste

Kris Aquino and Mark Leviste appear to have reunited in California and mended their differences, with the Queen of All Media noting that they have “both learned from [their] mistakes.”
In her Instagram page on Wednesday, Oct. 18, Aquino showed a video of her reunion with her “panganay” (eldest child), referring to actress Kim Chiu, who earlier flew to California for a show then apparently coordinated with the Batangas vice governor to meet Aquino.
“All I can say is I love you, I super appreciate your effort to visit, and even if it was a gloomy day, you were the much needed reminder that after all the storms, we can look forward to a RAINBOW,” Aquino addressed the “It’s Showtime” host.
“Please visit again [and] often?” she appealed to Chiu, adding that her biological injectable felt much more bearable after seeing the actress-TV host. “Thank you for until now (16 years and counting) genuinely caring for [and] trusting me.”
Aquino then revealed that the video of her reunion with Chiu was taken by Leviste, who apparently is in California as well. The Queen of All Media further said that it was her youngest son Bimby who made the pair realize “all the things [they] needed to repair in order to strengthen [their] commitment.”
“We’ve both learned from our mistakes. With God’s help, sana tuloy-tuloy na yung harmonious and supportive relationship namin,” Aquino spoke about Leviste, although it was not immediately clear if the pair got back together.
Aquino also thanked those who have been continuously sending their prayers, which she considers as the reason why her medical test results have been improving.
“Roughly 15 more months of treatment, but I’m alive and hopeful; tuloy ang LABAN, bawal sumuko,” she concluded.

In the comments section, Chiu, for her part, expressed happiness over seeing Aquino after several years. The actress-TV host also thanked Leviste for reaching out to her.

Earlier this month, Aquino reiterated that she had broken up with Leviste and that she was not in a relationship with anyone. She also admitted that she was displeased after Leviste had shared photos with Phillip Salvador, the father of her eldest son Josh.
Despite these remarks, Leviste expressed his admiration and love for Aquino in a recent interview, saying he’s “very fortunate” that she is part of his life. /ra
