15 years since its last logo update, Pepsi is undergoing a major rebranding as they reimagine what the next decade might look like for the world-famous beverage by being bold and different, while still being authentic.
With the new logo, Pepsi is giving its visual identity a revamp by incorporating a unique blue and black “pulse” to keep up with the times. This fresh look also features a brand-new typeface and a visually distinct can silhouette. Pepsi’s new visual identity will surely stand out as it evolves the Pepsi brand to represent its vision for its next era: Mas Masarap Maiba [loosely translated to “It’s More Delicious To Be Different].

On October 8, Filipinos who are not afraid to show their bold and authentic selves gathered together at the MOA Concert Grounds for Pepsi Pulse 2023: Be part of a new era.
In this event hosted by Jaz Reyes and Mikee Reyes, Pepsi has prepared a fun night for its Filipino patrons to celebrate and welcome its new era, with bold surprises in store for them—from immersive challenges, gastronomic delights, a surprise appearance from Mimiyuuuh, and performances from homegrown artists, including Ace Banzuelo, Mayonnaise, and SB19.
On top of it, Pepsi unveiled its new look via a Laser Light Show and Fireworks showcase to the public showing what it truly means to be Mas Masarap Maiba.
Pepsi’s new look includes modern elements that resonate with the Gen Z market. But more than that, it’s all about its message of being bold and different.
“Pepsi’s new era is different and I think that’s what makes it more appealing to the Gen Z community. As our generation is getting more accepting of differences, they recognize the power in it,” media personality Mimiyuuuh said. “This is what Pepsi’s campaign is all about as they embrace being bold and unique.”
“What draws a lot of people, especially the Gen Z community, to Pepsi’s new era is because of its uniqueness and authenticity,” Stell of SB19 said. “Just like us artists, we struggle to keep up with the trends and compare ourselves to other acts. But once we stopped doing those and started embracing our uniqueness, we showed the world our authentic selves that make us different from other people.”
“Same with Pepsi, they stick to their vision and what they feel is right with the product, which is Mas Masarap Maiba,” he added.
