With successful projects and numerous awards under their belt, many fans believe that it’s time for Kathryn Bernardo and Nadine Lustre to join forces in a film — which was also agreed by the admin of Viva Films’ Tiktok page.
Viva’s Tiktok account caught the attention of fans after commenting a brief “G” or “let’s go” on a fan edit of Bernardo and Lustre, where their respective confrontation scenes appeared to be stitched together by a certain @ayelmari, as if they’re together on a film.
The video showed Bernardo as Celine in the 2016 film “Barcelona: A Love Untold,” while Lustre can be seen portraying the character of Joanne in 2018’s “Never Not Love You.”

“The collab that we deserve #nathryn #fanedit,” the video’s text read, along with a Pride flag emoji.
Viva Film’s Tiktok page then hoped that a project between the two would happen, as it tagged Star Cinema’s account in the comments.
Fans also showed their excitement for the actresses to work together in a film, with some hoping they would star as sisters or lovers.
Meanwhile, others noted that a possible match-up between Bernardo and Lustre would remind them of Nora Aunor and Vilma Santos.
Despite this, neither Viva Films nor Star Cinema have yet to make an official statement on a possible Bernardo and Lustre project in the future.
Bernardo, who was dubbed as the “Box Office Queen of her Generation” by entertainment outlets, recently joined forces with Golden Globe nominee Dolly de Leon for the revenge film “A Very Good Girl” which premiered last September.
Among her biggest movies include “Hello, Love, Goodbye,” “The Hows of Us,” and “She’s Dating the Gangster,” among many others.
Meanwhile, Lustre is a two-time Best Actress winner of the Filipino Academy of Movie Arts and Sciences (FAMAS) awards. Some of her most successful films include “Never Not Love You,” “Greed,” “Deleter,” and “Ulan,” just to name a few.
She is set to appear in the Mikhail Red-helmed movie “Nokturno” with Eula Valdez and Bea Binene, which is scheduled for a 2023 release. EDV
