Big Hit Music announced the November release of BTS member Jungkook’s debut solo album “GOLDEN,” which is inspired by the K-pop star’s “golden moments.”
“‘GOLDEN’ is an album inspired by the golden moments of Jungkook, the golden maknae of BTS and a solo artist,” the music label said via fan community platform Weverse on Tuesday, Oct. 3.
“Golden maknae” translates to “golden youngest,” which is the moniker of Jungkook as the youngest member of the seven-member boy group.
“The album features a total of 11 tracks, including the previously released digital singles ‘Seven (feat. Latto)‘ and ‘3D (feat. Jack Harlow),'” the announcement further read.
“Jungkook will be delivering special stage performances and making various appearances alongside the release of “GOLDEN.” Please stay tuned and continue to support Jungkook as he embarks on his first solo album journey,” it stated.
“GOLDEN” will be released on Nov. 3, 1 p.m. (KST).
Jungkook dropped his first solo single “Seven (feat. Latto)” in July, followed by “3D (feat. Jack Harlow)” in September.
Meanwhile, all seven members of BTS—Jungkook, Jin, RM, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin and V—recently announced their renewal of contracts with Big Hit Music, extending their activity under the agency until after 2025. /ra
