Pokwang disclosed that she has sold her previous house and that she is currently selling her beach house in Bataan because both properties have “traces” of her former lover, Lee O’Brian.

The actress-comedian said this after one @becbec_dumelod congratulated Pokwang on the nearing completion of her new house, which she showed on her Instagram page on Saturday, Sept. 30.

“Mayette, congrats on your new house. God is faithful. Are you selling the house that you shared with that man?” the netizen asked via the comments section, apparently referring to O’Brian.

In response, Pokwang revealed, “Sold na po last year pa. That’s why I’m selling my beach house sa Bataan kasi ayoko ng may mantsa niya at bakas.”

(It was already sold last year. I’m also selling my beach house in Bataan because I don’t want anything that he has tainted and that has traces of him.)

Another netizen, one @annettezki, then applauded Pokwang for acquiring a new property and quipped that the comedian seemed to be collecting houses.

“Ganyan ako magalit,” Pokwang replied. “Kapag inaapi ako at pinapaiyak, ganyan ang nangyayari—dumadami ang property ko.”

(This is what happens whenever I get angry. Whenever others treat me harshly and try to make me cry, I acquire more properties.)

In a separate response to another Instagram user, Pokwang also seemed to have alluded to the deportation complaint she filed against O’Brian.

“Napalayas na ba siya sa Pilipinas? (Has he been deported already?)” one @morris.gibbs.391 asked, to which Pokwang replied. “Hindi pa nga e. May mga nakuhang padrino. Lakas ‘di ba? Tapos sasabihin niya ako daw ang maimpluwensiyang tao kaya nagpapa-victim ang g*go!”

(Not yet. He was able to secure some connections. Amazing, right? He even acted like he was the victim and said that I was the one who had influence.)

Pokwang filed in June a deportation complaint and cancellation of visa against O’Brian, with the comedian claiming that the American actor has been using a tourist visa even though he has been staying in the country for the past eight years.

O’Brian, in turn, issued a counter-affidavit against Pokwang and appealed to the Philippine government to look at his case “fairly and with justice.”

Pokwang and O’Brian, whose breakup was confirmed to the public in July last year, have a daughter named Malia.  EDV
