Chaeyoung of Twice will not be present at the K-pop girl group’s “Ready to Be” shows in Bulacan on Sept. 30 and Oct. 1 due to health issues.
JYP Entertainment, the group’s talent agency, announced this through a statement released on Friday, Sept. 29.
“We regret to inform you that Chaeyoung is unable to participate in the upcoming TWICE 5TH WORLD TOUR ‘READY TO BE’ Bulacan concert due to health issues,” it read.
“We convey this unfortunate news with a heavy heart as we know everyone was eagerly anticipating the show,” it added. “We kindly request your understanding as this decision was made after much consideration to protect the health of the artist.”
While the entertainment agency did not immediately expound on Chaeyoung’s condition, it thanked the girl group’s fans—dubbed as ONCE—for their continuous support.
