‘Drag Race PH’ names four finalists

Arizona Brandy, Bernie, Captivating Katkat, and M1ss Jade So were named as finalists of the reality show “Drag Race Philippines” which aired last Wednesday, Sept. 27.

The final four drag queens were announced at the end of the show’s ninth episode, following Arizona’s win on the titular lip-sync for your life against eliminated contestants Hana Beshie and OV C—T.

In the show, the queens who are up for elimination after the mini- and maxi-challenges will prepare a lip-sync performance to a song. The recent episode featured “Dati” by Sam Concepcion, Tippy Dos Santos, and Quest, as captured by one @EvangelistaHiro on X (formerly Twitter).

Arizona (one win), Bernie (two wins), Katkat (two wins), and Jade (one win) are entering the show’s finals with their respective wins and strengths under their belts.

Bernie, Captivating Katkat, and M1ss Jade So, who go by the pronouns she or her, notably made history as the first set of transwomen contestants on the show.

The reigning queen, Precious Paula Nicole, is set to pass her crown to the winner on the show’s finale this coming Oct. 4. EDV
