While Robi Domingo appears to have not expected that Filipino fans would flocked to him in Singapore, the TV host expressed his appreciation to them for giving him and his fiancée Maiqui Pineda a “warm welcome.”
“Wanted to get some warm bread at Orchard Road but got something better… a warm welcome from the Pinoys here,” the TV host said, showing photos of him surrounded by fellow Filipinos on his Instagram page on Tuesday, Sept. 26.
Through her Instagram Stories, Pineda also documented Domingo’s interaction with fans and showed snaps of when the pair finally arrived at their destination. Pineda disclosed as well that Domingo got out of the crowd with the help of a security guard.
“Someone decided to go to Lucky Plaza on a Sunday,” Pineda said. “They all just started to flock towards him. I didn’t know what to do so I just did this [take a selfie. Laughing out loud].”

Domingo and Pineda got engaged in 2022 after being in a relationship for four years.
The TV host, in June, gave a quick tour of his bachelor’s pad which he said he was letting go of in preparation for building his new home with Pineda, calling the experience “bittersweet” as this was his first big investment.
In an August interview, Domingo said that his wedding with Pineda, who has been diagnosed with a rare autoimmune disease, will push through as scheduled despite her health condition. EDV
