Admittedly addressed with reference to his actress wife Anne Curtis “in most provinces,” Erwan Heussaff recently shared how he was “pleasantly” surprised that someone knew his name while on a trip in Aurora.
The content creator recently uploaded on Instagram an excerpt from a YouTube video that documented his visit to Aurora, where he went camping “more than a month ago.” The excerpt was from a stopover at the Baler Public Market, where he bought several ingredients for an outdoor cooking session later in the day.
In the clip, a woman introduced Heussaff to seemingly vendors at the public market. “This is Erwan — chef Erwan, husband of Anne Curtis,” said the woman. At the tail end of the excerpt, the locals took turns taking photos with the restaurateur, who, with his team, made another stopover at an eatery before heading to their campsite in San Luis.
In his post’s caption, Heussaff claimed that “in most provinces,” he’s addressed as “Asawa ni Anne (husband of Anne),” and added that “most people don’t know my name, so I was pleasantly [surprised] that someone here did [emojis].”
Several users reacted to his post including his better half, who left a playful response in the comments section. “Ay[!] [S]iya pala Asawa ni Anne Curtis (Oh! So he’s the husband of Anne Curtis),” wrote the “It’s Showtime” mainstay, who then suggested that her husband make a return to the Kapamilya variety program.
Some netizens further teased the The Fat Kid Inside Studios founder, and wrote, “Tatay ni Dahlia (Father of Dahlia),” referring to the 3-year-old daughter of the celebrity couple. In his reply to one user, Heussaff shared that he has been called as such “once in Laoag” in Ilocos Norte.
On the other hand, there were also people who commended his humility and his being “accommodating” toward the locals.
