WATCH: David Licauco goes on date with ‘It’s Showtime’ child star Argus Aspiras

David Licauco and “It’s Showtime” child star Argus Aspiras appear to have enjoyed each other’s company after they bonded at an arcade, shared a meal and shopped for toys.

The actor gave a glimpse of their meeting through his X (formerly Twitter) page on Wednesday, Sept. 20.

“A date,” Licauco captioned his post, adding heart hands emoji.

In a separate Instagram post, Licauco showed a video of them singing a line from Lola Amour’s “Raining in Manila” as well as eating at one of the actor’s restaurants. The video also includes a clip of Licauco handing Aspiras the toys they appear to had bought at a toy store.

Internet personality Dustin Yu teased Licauco via the comments section, saying the actor was “practicing” to have his own child.

Actor Nikki Co, meanwhile, called Licauco a “proud daddy” apparently because of the latter’s resemblance to the young celebrity, which fans also pointed out.

Prior to their meeting, Licauco had expressed his fondness for Aspiras whom he called “cute” in a tweet last July.

Aspiras appears in “It’s Showtime” as one of the hosts of the noontime show’s “Isip Bata” segment.  /ra
