Kris Bernal marks first month of baby Hailee Lucca, motherhood

Kris Bernal recently celebrated her baby girl, Hailee Lucca’s first month, and reflected on her journey as a first-time mom.
The “Ten Little Mistresses” actress, who welcomed her firstborn with businessman husband Perry Choi on Aug. 15, uploaded an Instagram video which showed her happily interacting with their now one-month-old “little sunshine.”
“And in a blink, my #LittleSunshine, @haileelucca, is one month old [emoji] Celebrating a month of pure newborn bliss while soaking in every second of it; filling our lives and hearts [with] so much love and purpose! [emoji],” wrote the “StarStruck” alum, who mentioned about having longer nights, but a happier home with the arrival of their baby girl.
“Love stronger. Days shorter. Nights longer. Home happier! [emoji] #TheCHOIs,” she said.
The 34-year-old entrepreneur, who previously shared that she went through “such a traumatic and long birth,” also got real about her experiences as a new mom.
“There is nothing like the first weeks at home [with] a newborn. Sleep deprivation is real! [emoji] It’s the craziest mix of excitement and exhaustion as we get to know each other. It’s quite challenging as me and @haileelucca are both doing things we’ve never done before. Inhaling the happy, exhaling the hard! [emoji] I wouldn’t change it for the world!” she expressed.

Hailee’s first month was met with love from several people including celebrity parents Rodjun Cruz and Jopay Paguia. Just like the comments from the actress’ earlier social media posts, there were also a lot of responses that pointed out the resemblance between their baby girl and her father.

Choi, who tied the knot with Bernal in September 2021, also marked the milestone of their “1-month-old dumpling” by posting a snap of Hailee on his Instagram page.

Meanwhile, Bernal, in a different post, shared that their daughter’s name was “inspired by the word ‘Hallelujah.'” “My child is a manifestation of God’s divine love, and I am forever thankful for this blessing,” she shared.
