Actress Cristine Reyes is one proud mom to her daughter, Amarah, who recently got to show off her skills in a gymnastics competition.

On her social media pages, the “Martyr or Murderer” actress gave a glimpse of her daughter’s performances in different events. Amarah, who represented Club Gymnastica Makati, competed in bars, floor exercise, balance beam, and vault.

Among the four events, the 8-year-old tallied her highest score of 9.45 in vault. She received 9, 8.9, and 8.7 in floor exercise, balance beam, and bars, respectively.

Reyes, despite running on just three hours of sleep, said she made sure that she was at the venue to personally cheer on her little gymnast.

“Kahit tatlong oras lang tulog ko (Even if I only had three hours of sleep), I need to be here. Proud of you! Congratulations, Amarah! Mommy loves you! [heart emojis],” expressed the “StarStruck” alum, who also shared moments from the awarding ceremony and of the mother and daughter posing with Amarah’s medals.

In the comments section of the actress’ Instagram post, Amarah was congratulated by several people including actor Dominic Roque. She also received shout-outs from the Gumabao clan led by Reyes’ boyfriend Marco Gumabao, who left heart emojis for the young girl; while his sisters Marielle and Margarita complimented Amarah.

It’s unsure whether Amarah’s father, “Always” actor Ali Khatibi, was able to attend the tournament. Khatibi, like his former wife — he married Reyes in 2016 — is currently in a relationship. His partner, chemical technician-entrepreneur Dona Balmadrid recently posted photos with the father-and-daughter duo during a trip to Balesin.

Meanwhile, Reyes, who previously said that Gumabao is “like a perfect boyfriend,” currently appears with the actor in the Kapatid series “Minsan Pa Nating Hagkan ang Nakaraan.”

Earlier in the year, Reyes uploaded what looked like an appreciation post for her daughter on Instagram, and shared several videos and photos including a collage of snaps with Amarah and her ex-husband from important events in their daughter’s young life.
