South Korean label MLD Entertainment will launch its second all-Filipino group New:ID consisting of members from “Dream Maker,” the survival show that formed global pop unit HORI7ON.

The boy group consists of Thad, Wilson, Jom, L, and Macky, according to the agency’s release, who are “getting ready for their debut with confident determination.”

The members made it to “Dream Maker’s” finals but were unable to qualify in the final group: L ended at the 16th rank, Jom ranked 15th, Macky ranked 14th, Thad ranked 11th, and Wilson ranked 10th at the end of the survival show.

New:ID’s debut date, however, is yet to be disclosed, as of this writing. It also remains unknown whether the boy group will debut in South Korea like HORI7ON, or will be based in the Philippines.

“The boys received a lot of love and support from the global fans during the airing and are now about to take on a new challenge as they debut. As much as New:ID was able to show their different talents on the final stage of ‘Dream Maker,’ people are excited for their upcoming global movements,” MLD said.

The group’s social media platforms were opened earlier this month, where the individual profiles of its members were also revealed to the public.

New:ID was also introduced to the public through a performance of their song “E.R.” during HORI7ON’s “Friend-SHIP: Voyage to Manila” concert last Sept. 9, as seen in a video recorded by a fan account on X.

Members of the group were also featured in some of HORI7ON’s performances in the show.

MLD Entertainment is the home of HORI7ON, who debuted last July, and K-pop groups Lapillus, TFN, JT&Marcus, CocaNButter, Narin, and Forever:Young. It is also the agency of solo artist Lee Seung-chul and “Unpretty Rapstar” alum Cheetah. EDV
