Why Lovi had to return to PH so soon after UK wedding

Days after her much talked-about wedding in the United Kingdom, actress Lovi Poe is back on the set of the action-comedy series “FPJ’s Batang Quiapo” to portray Mokang, the love interest of Coco Martin’s character Tanggol.

Lovi recently flew back to the country after tying the knot with longtime boyfriend, British national Montgomery “Monty” Blencowe, on Aug. 27, at the historical Cliveden House in Berkshire near London.

Sadly, celebrations had to be cut short because the production of “Batang Quiapo” is already running on a tight schedule due to the fact that Lovi and Coco are scheduled to leave on Sept. 7 to participate in the ABS-CBN-organized event for “ASAP Natin ‘To” in Milan, Italy.

As Mokang, Lovi is set to marry Ramon, the character played by Christopher de Leon, who is actually the real father of Tanggol. However, this fact remains a secret at this time, not only to Mokang and Tanggol, but also to Ramon.
