Ivana Alawi surprised her younger sister Mona Alawi, who recently turned 19, with her “dream car” in the former’s latest prank video.

The 26-year-old Kapamilya actress had set up a confrontation between her and an accomplice, which took place after a fake collision between the sisters’ ride and the accomplice’s new car — which is actually Ivana’s gift to Mona.

The “confrontation” intensified after the accomplice playing the role of an enraged driver pointed and shouted at the younger actress, who stepped out of their vehicle to hand over what seemed to be her sister’s bag. That part of the prank was discussed with Ivana, who was shown in the video demanding an apology for her sister.

At one point in the prank, the former child star — then more popularly known as Mona Louise Rey — pleaded with her older sister to not stoop down to the furious man’s level and to also refrain from posting about him online, worried that her sister might get “in trouble.”

The heated argument continued with Mona still clueless that everything is but an act. Before the accomplice handed over his key to Ivana to kick off the reveal, Mona can be seen pulling her sister by the arm to prevent her from getting any closer to the enraged driver.

The victim and star of the prank, who celebrated her birthday weeks prior to the video’s release, couldn’t help but break out in tears after all the chaos that transpired.

“Akala ko kasi susugurin mo na si kuya [accomplice]. Hindi ko alam ano’ng gagawin ko (I thought you were going to go after him. I didn’t know what to do),” Mona told Ivana, who earlier in the video mentioned that the 19-year-old student planned to save up for the car.

The “Munting Heredera” actress expressed multiple times how the generous gesture was “too much,” and even said, “Ewan ko [kung] ano’ng ginawa ko (I don’t know what I did)… to deserve you, guys.”

“Girl, ang ginawa mo [ay] lumabas ka sa world na ‘to. [‘Yun pa lang] sobra-sobra na. Lahat kami napapasaya mo sa ngiti mo at sa iyak mo (Girl, what you did was exist in this world. That in itself is already more than enough. You’re able to make all of us happy with your smiles and tears),” replied the “Partners in Crime” actress.

Meanwhile, Ivana, in the same video, also talked about joining “FPJ’s Batang Quiapo.” Aside from the “StarStruck” alum, the Kapamilya series has also tapped the services of veteran actors Soliman Cruz and Jaclyn Jose.
