The contingent of Barangay Gusa bagged the championship in the recently concluded Higalaay Festival Street Dance Competition held at the Misamis Oriental Integrated Sports Center in Cagayan de Oro City.
The champion team won the P300,000 cash prize as well as special awards such as Best in Street Dancing, Best Choreographer, and Best in Musicality.
The first runner up was Barangay Carmen, winning P200,000, while Barangay Puerto took the second runner up spot and won P100,000.
Meanwhile, for the Float Competition, Palawan Pawnshop earned the top prize and also reeived P300,000 in cash prize. Barangay Carmen and JE Hydro & Bio-Energy Corp were first and second runner up, respectively.
