Vice Ganda figures in multiple-vehicle crash
Vice Ganda revealed that he figured in a road accident after a truck driver reportedly fell asleep and caused a collision of four vehicles including the “It’s Showtime” host’s car.
The comedian, who is fortunately safe after the incident, spoke about this during an episode of the noontime show on Monday, Aug. 21.
“Kasi naaksidente ako nung Saturday. Sana po tulungan niyo ‘yung driver na nakabangga sa amin,” Vice Ganda said. “Naararo kami; apat kaming sasakyan. Parang nakatulog ‘yung driver.”
(Because I figured in an accident last Saturday. Please help the driver who hit us. Four vehicles were hit including mine. The driver might have fallen asleep.)
Vice Ganda was appealing to the transportation service and the trucking service companies—which the truck driver works for—to provide assistance to the driver.
Article continues after this advertisement“Wasak na wasak [‘yung sasakyan] so sana po tulungan niyo po ‘yung driver kasi balita namin—,” Vice Ganda said, opting not to expound on the truck driver’s situation. “Naaawa rin ako do’n sa driver kasi ang daming sasakyan [‘yung nabangga].”

Vice Ganda then tried to lighten up the mood and quipped that while he’s thankful that he is safe, he laments losing the top spot in the mobile game he was playing when the accident happened.
Clips of the accident wherein Vice Ganda was seen checking up on fellow victims were shared by one Jeppooyy Bekillyou on his Facebook page on Sunday, Aug. 20.
While Vice Ganda did not expound on the accident, his fans as well as his fellow “It’s Showtime” hosts expressed relief that the comedian did not sustain serious injuries. /ra
